I’ve never seen one of these before. That rear windshield is amazing.

I think these are seen in Europe more often as an Opel. Not sure though, I have never seen one myself. On an unrelated note you have very good taste in music.

Well that’s quite nice of you to say!
Yes, it’s also called the Opel/Holden Tigra, this particular generation was sold in some Latin American nations as the Chevy Tigra.
This particular one has a 1.6 liter engine with 100hp.
Its a coupe body and a quarter of a million were made in total.

I do like how they look. They vaguely remind me of the Toyota Paseo, as both are compacts styled like little sports cars. I’d rock it.

Getting that rear dome to seal, let alone manufacture, is worth whatever they ask for used mk1 Tigras

You forgot Vauxhall. Lol.
But ye’, the rear window is fantastic.
Not bad for what was essentially a Corsa coupe.

I think its a nice querky car.

Of the small hatchbacks made into coupes.
I prefer the Ford Puma.
This 2001, Ford Puma, 1.7 petrol manual, 123bhp, 104,000 miles is £590.

I do like Ford Pumas too... but I find that Vauxhall’s glass so tempting.

They are getting rarer and rarer though. There is one Tigra A on Autotrader U.K. which is £1,695 while there are 20 Pumas on the same site starting at £395 for a good one.
Granted the Racing FRP is £17,995.

Oh no.....
But this one was nicely kept... except for the fallen A

Subcompact actually. Based on an Opel Corsa.

i knew of the Vauxhall and Opel version but not the Chevy version (not sold here in Australia)

Woah. We got the “Holden” Tigra in Australia, but the newer one. Never seen that one before

Next imaginary project: buy a used tigra and turn it into a rally car
